The clinic

Manchester is where Menhancements started and it is still the main clinic. It sits on Minshull Street in the city centre, a few minutes from Piccadilly, and it runs six days a week.
Everything happens in a private treatment room with the door shut and one practitioner in it. There is no shared floor, no open bays, and nothing about your appointment is discussed anywhere other than that room.
Because it is the flagship, it carries the widest choice of appointment times of the three clinics, including the late clinic on a Thursday. If you need something that fits either side of a working day, this is usually the one that can do it.
Every treatment starts with a conversation rather than a booking form. That is half an hour in a private room with somebody who does this every day, at no commitment, and it is where you find out whether any of it is worth your money.
What that actually means when you turn up, rather than how it sounds on a clinic page.
- One practitioner, one roomYou are with the same person from the moment the door closes. Nobody else comes in and out mid-appointment.
- A men-only clinicMenhancements treats men, so you are not sat waiting through somebody else's treatment list wondering what to say.
- The widest choice of timesSix days a week, with a late clinic on Thursday until 8pm. If discretion for you means going after work, this is the clinic that suits it.
- The consultation comes firstYou are not sold a treatment on arrival. The first appointment is a conversation about whether anything here is right for you at all.
- Written aftercare, every timeYou leave with written aftercare in your hand, and the clinic line stays open to you between appointments.
What runs here
Not every treatment runs on every day, so tell us what you are after when you enquire and we will tell you the days it is on rather than book you in and sort it out later.
Getting here
- On footMinshull Street is in the city centre, walkable from Piccadilly and Piccadilly Gardens. Say the word when you enquire and we will send exact directions to the door.
- By trainManchester Piccadilly is the nearest mainline station and it is a short walk from there.
- By tramPiccadilly Gardens is the closest Metrolink stop, with Piccadilly station on the same line.
- ParkingThere is no clinic car park. City-centre parking here is paid, either on-street or in one of the multi-storeys nearby, so allow a few extra minutes if you are driving.
- AccessIf steps, lifts or getting in and out matter to you, ask before you book. We will tell you exactly what the building is like rather than let you find out on the day.
- ArrivingCome at your appointment time rather than early. Appointments are booked so you are not sitting around, and the clinic is quiet by design.
File 04 / Honest expectations
What we will not tell you.
Most clinic location pages read like a brochure for a building. Here is the part that actually affects your appointment.
The phone line is not this clinic
0161 564 4406 is one reception line for the whole group, and it is triaged. It reaches a person who will route you, not a practitioner sat in a Manchester treatment room.
It is a city-centre clinic
That means paid parking, traffic, and a walk at the end of it. If driving to the door matters to you, Wilmslow will suit you better.
Consultation first, every time
You cannot walk in and buy a treatment. If you want to be treated on the same day as your consultation, ask when you enquire rather than assume it.
We will turn men away
Not everyone who enquires is suitable, and not every man should spend money on this. If that is you, we will say so at consultation.
Hours move
The times on this page are the standard week. Bank holidays and staffing change them, and the booking system is the version that is true on the day.
